Fries! The Movie Premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival in April

The latest feature length documentary from Zero Point Zero Films Fries! The Movie will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

Malcolm Gladwell and Chrissy Teigen join an international cast of characters celebrating their love of french fries through reverence and humor, told through intimate and real discussions with historians, connoisseurs, chefs, and obsessives all over the world. In a world full of strife and distrust, a modern era where truths and lies intermingle in ways making them nearly impossible to sort, and in the best of times or the worst of times there was, and always will be, one thing we can all agree on…it’s easy to find comfort in a fry.

The film is directed by Michael Steed the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning creator of the acclaimed series The Mind of a Chef. His recent work is seen on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman and CNN’s Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. Producers on the film are Christopher Collins, Lydia Tenaglia, Chrissy Teigen, Rob Sheard, Jared Andrukanis and Kelly Mullen.

By January 22, the day Pandemic debuted on Netflix, the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak had risen to 17 with more than 550 infections—and those numbers have been climbing ever since.
